Instead of simply reading about each skill, students are encouraged to ask questions, meet professionals, visit real places, observe how things work, try the skill themselves, and reflect on what they discovered.

The goal is exposure.

Give children opportunities to discover things they didn't know existed, uncover new interests, ask better questions, and find skills they may want to explore more deeply.
